Shafee Ahmed - Software Engineer

Between Two Worlds

"The edges of our paths blur with those who came before, but the footprints we leave are uniquely our own." – Ocean Vuong

I'm Shafee Ahmed, a DevOps and Cybersecurity professional working in New York. I have a passion for cybersecurity and constantly expanding learning new things. This led me to The Knowledge House's Software Engineering Fellowship, where I completed over 500 hours of training.

I've had some exciting wins along the way - I took first place at the Citi Technology Hackathon and was named Best Teammate in my Kura Labs cohort. I also hold a Google Cybersecurity Certificate.

During my time at Kura Labs, Kusari, and ClassPass, I've implemented security pipelines and delivered full-stack features using frameworks like React, Next.js, and GraphQL. I have hands-on experience with various SysOps tools like Docker, Terraform, and Jenkins, and I enjoy working with Bash and Python scripting.

Currently, I'm learning more about AI engineering and how to leverage LLMs to let AI take over the wor--oh, I mean: creating awesome reliable systems. 😁
